I watched 'Funny Games', a movie about two psychotic killers. I have never in my life seen such a disturbing movie before. The film has these two young men holding a family (man, wife and 7-9 year old son) hostage. They then make the family play 'games' which are not funny at all. One of the games -a bet. The guys make a bet the the family members will be dead by 9 am next morning. Imagine the trauma the family had to go through. So much sadism, insensitivity, brutal cruelty... during one scene, I almost got an attack.
Its my fault. They had clearly shown the rating of the movie before it began. It was rated R. R for Restricted. :( I don't think I am meant for such movies. Considering that it took 10 mins of Tom & Jerry to make me sane enough to write this post, I think I should stick to 'U' movies.

to me what happens .. is that if i see such movies .. i see them in my dreams .. and i am in them .. its fun .. !!
u can try the "hostel" or like @brocasarea said.,, the saw series..
watch it in darkness and silence and then try to sleep...
same phenomenon can be experienced by playing horror games like "alone in the dark"

Theme of some of the movies is so horrifying that one wonders who have the capacity to see such movies. Maybe people with similar thinking.

have you watched SAW? coz that is definitely the MOST disturbing movie of all times. I gave up in the middle, even though I think i can usually watch these sick minded movies without depressing myself too much.
but then again, movies are meant to be an entertainment, a way of ralaxing, why torture yourself?!

Raaji: No. And I will not see Saw. Exactly!! I wanted to add that to this post, but I was way too out of my mind! Movies are for entertainment. I guess I should stick to Bollywood melodrama :)

Survivor: lol.. then I'd be sitting with my eyes shut for the whole movie. It wasn't the visuals that were disturbing, it was the feel!

I can recommend some movies for you of such type if you want to see..
Consider it like taking baby steps...
you need to watch the less gory films first. Then advance to the more psychotic insane ones.
